Next Sunday is the last day to register for the church retreat. We are going to be looking at the story of Joseph in the Bible, a man who has all sorts of awful things happen to him that God ultimately redeems! Spoiler alert: by the end of the story Joseph is living into a destiny that he never would have dreamed of!

Lastly, Los Angeles County is launching “Breathe,” a guaranteed income program providing the opportunity for 1000 eligible county residents to be more financially secure. We believe that we cannot and are not meant to do this life alone, so we invite you to consider joining one of our life groups that meet during the week! Today we are featuring my LifeGroup – we meet on Thursdays at 7pm in Boyle Heights. We share our celebrations and struggles, and pray for one another. A few weeks ago, Chris preached on silence and solitude, and we want to provide an opportunity for us to practice this collectively! On Saturday, March 19, we will gather at Lincoln Park from 10 am to 12 pm. Chris will give us a reflection, and then we will break up to find a place to walk or be still. Just a reminder that next Sunday, Feb 27 at 11 am, we will be having a joint church service in Pasadena with all our church family from across the city, and we will NOT be meeting here at our building! Also, a reminder that the service will start at 11 am, so please get up a little earlier than you normally would. There will be lunch after church, so please register to secure your lunch! You can find the link at our website’s events section or see Adriana after church!

Childcare will be available during the service next week, 6 months and up. Please pre-register kids for a smooth transition. Elementary kids will stay with their parents during worship. Classes will be outside, and teachers will be tested.
